“From Classroom to Campaigns: How New Media Marketing Transformed My Strategy”

As I wrap up my New Media Marketing course, I’ve been thinking a lot about how everything I’ve learned fits into the bigger picture of my digital marketing plan for Puttshack. This course has really opened my eyes to the power of social media and new media platforms in creating campaigns that actually help achieve our business goals.


One of the biggest takeaways for me was understanding when to use influencer marketing versus a brand ambassador program. Before this course, I didn’t really get the difference or how to decide which was best for a given situation. Now, I feel confident in choosing the right strategy and knowing how to find and engage with our fans online. It’s fascinating to dive into what people are saying about brands on social media and see how they interact with us.


The course also emphasized the importance of aligning these new media strategies with our overall business objectives. For Puttshack, that means creating experiences that are not just fun but also memorable and engaging. We want our customers to come back again and again because they love what we offer. This alignment ensures that every campaign we run contributes meaningfully to our goals, whether it’s through social media, mobile platforms, or experiential marketing.


Another key insight I gained is the importance of continuously learning and adapting in the ever-changing digital landscape. The tools and strategies we use today might not be as effective tomorrow, so it’s crucial to stay current with trends and technologies. This mindset will help ensure that my strategies remain effective and relevant, not just for my final project but for future marketing initiatives as well.


Reflecting on my journey through this course, I realize how much more confident I am in my ability to craft and execute digital marketing strategies. The practical skills and knowledge I’ve gained will undoubtedly enhance my work on Puttshack’s marketing plan. I’m excited to apply these insights to create campaigns that are not only creative but also strategically sound.


In short, this course has been incredibly helpful. It’s given me the tools and confidence to create digital marketing campaigns that are both innovative and aligned with our business goals. I’m looking forward to putting everything I’ve learned into practice and seeing the positive impact it will have on Puttshack’s marketing efforts.
